.sx is an Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) that is created for Sint Maarten, following the decision on December 15, 2010, by the ISO 3166 Maintenance Agency to allocate SX as the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 cpr144449003101 code for Sint Maarten.[1] This decision followed Sint Maarten's new status as an autonomous country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands on October 10, 2010. A sunrise period will be available to claim copyrighted names, etc.
