Romania is a country located at the crossroads of Central and Southeastern Europe. It shares borders with Hungary, Siberia, Ukraine and Moldova, and has a coast along the Black Sea. It has an estimated population of approximately 19 million people, and the official language is Romanian.
The Romanian economy has been recovering from the fall of communism and up until the last decade was in a state of instability.
