.esq FAQ

(1) Domain applicant should have a law degree, has successfully completed the appropriate steps as required by their country of practice or body governing certification of lawyers and has taken and passed a bar exam or equivalent exam if required by their country of practice or body governing certification of lawyers via an established process. If the domain applicant passes the eligibility verification process, only then will the applicant be eligible to apply for a second-level domain in the .esq gTLD. (2)Second-level domain names in the .esq gTLD must be related to the registered individualʹs legal name or practice.

Some domain names may be permanently or temporarily reserved or restricted for registry operations, as premium domain names or to comply with ICANN requirements.

To comply with ICANN requirements, all two-character domains shall be initially reserved, however may be released in the future. In addition reserved names for a) International Olympic Committee, b) International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and c) Intergovernmental Organizations, for new gTLDs., are not available in accordance with ICANN. To preserve the integrity of the gTLD, Charleston Road Registry reserves the right to adopt certain monitoring measures, including periodic audits.Charleston Road cpr144449003101 Registry may request that the appropriate registrar enforce such agreements through penalties, including but t limited to suspension of the domain name.
