Foreign companies are required to have an official presence in Nepal as a joint venture, partnership, agent, or a license in order to qualify to register a domain. Official documents to prove the presence will have to be submitted with the application. Documents required: Application letter written on company letterhead, signed by authorized executive, copy of company registration certificate, full local contact information.

Individuals: A copy of the applicant's citizenship certificate in order to verify the authenticity of the applicant as only Nepalese citizens are entitled to register personal domains.
