The city of Berlin is not just the capital of Germany, it is the largest city and second most populous with approximately 3.5 million people. According to dotBERLIN GmbH & Co. KG, one of the applicants for .berlin 75% of these citizens are internet users. The initiative for .berlin is to create an important contribution to Berlin, nationally and internationally and provide Berliners and their organizations with their own domain extension.
