.BANK DOMAIN ELIGIBILITY AND NAMING REQUIREMENTS

Only verified members of the global banking community are eligible to register .bank domains. Qualified registrants are for-profit and not-for profit business or organizations such as:

• (3.1) State, regional and provincial banks that are chartered and supervised by a government regulatory authority;
• (3.2) Savings associations that are charted and supervised by a government regulatory authority;
• (3.3) National banks that are chartered and supervised by a government regulatory authority;
• (3.4) Associations whose members are primarily comprised of entities identified above in 3.1, 3.2 or 3.3;
• (3.5) Groups of associations whose members are primarily comprised of associations identified above in 3.4;
• (3.6) Service providers that are principally owned by or predominantly supporting regulated entities identified above in 3.1, 3.2 or 3.3. (if approved by the Registry Operator Board); and
• (3.7) Government regulators of chartered and supervised banks or savings associations or organizations whose members are primarily comprised of such government regulators (if approved by the Registry Operator Board).

Domain name must: (a) correspond to a trademark, trade name or service mark of the business or organization; (b) not be a Reserved Name; and (c) not be likely to deceive or cause material detriment to a significant portion of the banking, insurance and/or financial services communities, its customers or Internet users.

Your domain submission will go through a detailed verification process to ensure that registrations are made only with organizations that meet the eligibility requirements and verification is performed at the time of initial registration and at each renewal or every two years, whichever comes first. You will complete this verification process directly with the registry. If registration is unsuccessful, only the registration fee is refundable after your domain registration request is submitted to the registry for verification. You may be required to submit certain information to Registry Operator, or its designated third-party service provider, to verify your eligibility to register a domain name in .BANK.

In accordance with our agreement with fTLD Registry Services, the Registry Operator, .BANK Registered Name Holder consents to the collection and use of Personal Data by the Registry Operator. In addition the Registry Operator reserves the right to deny, cancel or transfer any Registered Name registration at their sole discretion. Registered Name Holder also agree that in the event of any dispute concerning the time of the entry of a Registered Name registration into the Registry System, the timestamp shown in the Registry System records shall control. All applicable national, state or local law, regulation or court order in relation to its operations and registrations of the .BANK shall apply. In addition, the use of privacy or proxy registration services by the Registered Name Holder in registering or maintaining domain name registrations are not permitted.

In addition to the .BANK Policies, which are the foundation of a protected, trusted and more secure environment for .BANK domains, other documents are included to identify a variety of security and operational requirements.

Public Interest Commitments (PICs)

These commitments are mandated by ICANN and included as Specification 11 in fTLD’s Registry Agreement. Public Interest Commitments (PICs) are reflected in 101domain Legal Agreements, the .BANK Policies or .BANK Security Requirements. Some PICs are included in .BANK Policies and in the Security Requirements.

fTLD Security Requirements

These Requirements are essential for fTLD to fulfill its mission for the .BANK domain. Some of the Requirements are drawn from the PICs and others from the Community Registration Policies included as Specification 12 to fTLD’s Registry Agreement. The Requirements address issues such registrant verification and DNSSEC and identify the responsible party (i.e., Registry Operator, Registrar or Registrant) to ensure compliance. Re-Verification

Re-Verification of registrants and their domains names will occur 1) upon renewal if registered for 1 year, if registered for multiple years, then every two years upon renewal, 2) if there is a change to the organization name and 3) upon request to the registrar by the Registry Operator.

Some domain names may be permanently or temporarily reserved or restricted for registry operations, as premium domain names or to comply with ICANN requirements.

To comply with ICANN requirements, all two-character domains shall be initially reserved, however may be released in the future. In addition reserved names for a) International Olympic Committee, b) International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and c) Intergovernmental Organizations, for new gTLDs., are not available in accordance with ICANN. Registrants must meet the following requirements:

Registrants must be an entity holding one or more regulatory permissions granted by a financial regulatory authority in respect of the CFD space.

Applicants must continue to meet the TLD eligibility requirements for continued registration and renewal of the domain name.

Required Information:

• Authorisation number provided by a financial regulator, as relevant to the jurisdiction it operates.
• Identify the regulatory permissions that it holds, such as:
  Introducing, Advising, Counterparty to client trades, Discretionary Management, Dealings as an Agent, Other

Verification Process:

Due to this TLD being restricted, there will be a Validation process incorporated into the registration process. Validation of the information submitted by the domain name applicant will be carried out by a third party, Valideus, before a domain name is granted. Validation will occur during the 30 day pending create phase.

The domain name applicant (Registrant) will be contacted directly by Valideus, having received information from the Registry, and will be asked to log on to a portal to supply additional information to determine eligibility for the domain name.

Failure to pass the validation process within the available timeframe (30 days) may result in deletion of the domain name.

In accordance with ICANN schedule of reserved names the following are restricted: “EXAMPLE” shall be reserved at the second level and at all other levels within the TLD at which Registry Operator makes registrations.
Two-character labels: All two-character labels shall be initially reserved. The reservation of a two character label string may be released to the extent that Registry Operator reaches agreement with the government and country-code manager. The Registry Operator may also propose release of these reservations based on its implementation of measures to avoid confusion with the corresponding country codes.
Tagged Domain Names: Labels may only include hyphens in the third and fourth position if they represent valid internationalized domain names in their ASCII encoding (for example "xn--ndk061n").
Second-Level Reservations for Registry Operations: The following names are reserved for use in connection with the operation of the registry for the TLD. Registry Operator may use them, but upon conclusion of Registry Operator's designation as operator of the registry for the TLD they shall be transferred as specified by ICANN: NIC, WWW, IRIS and WHOIS.
Country and Territory Names: The country and territory names contained in the following internationally recognized lists shall be initially reserved at the second level and at all other levels within the TLD at which the Registry Operator provides for registrations.

• (3.2) Licensed insurance agents/agencies, brokers/brokerages or other equivalents (e.g., intermediaries, representatives) regulated by a government authority;
• (3.3) Associations whose members are primarily comprised of entities or individuals identified above in 3.1 or 3.2;
• (3.4) Groups of associations whose members are primarily comprised of associations identified above in 3.3;
• (3.5) Service providers that are principally owned by or predominantly supporting regulated entities identified above in 3.1 or 3.2 (if approved by the Registry Operator Board of Directors); and
• (3.6) Government regulators of insurance companies, agents/agencies, brokers/brokerages or other equivalents (e.g., intermediaries, representatives) or organizations whose members are primarily comprised of such government regulators (if approved by the Registry Operator Board of Directors).

Holding companies do not meet the eligibility requirements for .INSURANCE. Holding companies may register domain names on behalf of their eligible subsidiaries provided the registrant contact information submitted during the registration process is for the eligible entity. If the registrant contact provided is that of the holding company the verification process will fail.

REGISTRANT CONTACT REQUIREMENTS:

The registry requires that certain information must be specified in the registrant contact for your .insurance domain name.
1) The Registrant first and last name must be a person's name and someone that is currently employed with the applying entity. (It cannot contain the entities name or generic name such as Domain Administrator, etc).
2) The Registrant company name must be the registered, legal name of the eligible entity. Do not use holding company names, nicknames or abbreviations.
3) The Registrant address cannot be a PO box and must be the physical address of the entity.
4) The telephone number must be listed in public databases under the organization name.

Registration of .LOTTO domain names is restricted to members of approved lottery associations around the globe. An eligible registrant will have already received a Member Contact ID and a Verification Code from the registry. You will be prompted to provide this information during checkout.

Eligible Registrants must be classified within one or more of the following categories and adhere to the relevant restrictions set forth below:

Lottery Operators

Eligible Registrants must be licensed or authorized to conduct lotteries by a jurisdiction domiciled in a state recognized by the United Nations. Sales of games of chance and/or skill must account for the majority of the organization’s total annual gross revenues. Such games must be offered in accordance with the requirements of the .Lotto Acceptable Use policy. Domain names registered by or on behalf of lotteries must correspond to the name of the Eligible Registrant, Eligible Registrant’s lottery games, Eligible Registrant’s product(s), or its product category. Qualified Registrants may include additional words within their domain names. For example, Registrants may register EntityName.lotto, EntityNameGameName.lotto and GameName.lotto.

Suppliers of Goods and Services to the Lottery Industry

Eligible Registrants are organizations that supply goods or services to the lottery industry and are a member of an Approved Standards Body. Examples include suppliers of online and offline systems, terminals, printers, video lottery terminals, special papers, vending machines, dispensers and drawing machines, telecommunication organizations, ticket printers, game designers, marketing and advertising specialists, consultants, auditors and trade magazines. Associate members are not permitted to conduct lotteries at a .LOTTO domain. Qualified Registrants may include additional words within their domain names. For example, Registrants may register AssociateMemberName.lotto, AssociateMemberNameMachines.lotto, and GravityPickMachine.lotto.

Approved Standards Body

Recognized lottery associations, i.e. theWorld Lottery Association (WLA)and the regional associations it recognizes: North American Association of State and Provincial (NASPL), European State Lottery and Toto Association (EL), the Corporation Iberoamericana de loterias y apuestas de estado (CIBELAE), the Association des Loteries d’Afrique (ALA) and the Asia Pacific Lottery Association (APLA), and other international lottery associations representing at least 5 State Lotteries and/or Lotteries licensed by the State to operate lottery games in the concerned jurisdiction and each of them located and operating in different jurisdictions or States.

Please note: A domain can be registered without a Membership ID and Verification Code. The domain name will remain on serverHold and will not resolve until this information is provided. There will be no refunds provided for failure to provide once the domain name is registered.

Naming Selection

There should be a clear and logical nexus between the activities of the Registrant within the lottery industry and the domain name being registered. Domain names that are likely to deceive, disparage or cause a material detriment to the lottery community, its customers or Internet users are explicitly prohibited, e.g., ihate.lotto or unfair.lotto.

c. Organizations and individuals (sole proprietors) that are recognized and registered members of the insurance industry community:
    (i) Primary insurers, reinsurers and social insurers with an authorization within the legal frameworks for the insurance industry in the respective countries.
    (ii) Insurance agents and insurance intermediaries with an authorization within the legal framework for the insurance industry in the respective countries
    (iii) At an official public register registered associations, educational institutions and service providers of the insurance industry.

Proxy and/or privacy services are not allowed for this extension.

On request of the registry, a .VERSICHERUNG Domain Name registrant has to proof its relationship to the Insurance community as defined in the .VERSICHERUNG registration policy.
